Sustainable Logistics

Climate change is one of the greatest challenge for humanity and the resulting impact is becoming more and more evident. Increasingly often, extreme climatic events occur while the ecosystem is being altered causing serious repercussions on all the species that are part of it.

In line with the objectives set by the United Nations through the various climate agreements, CNL has drawn up a report about the future of sustainable logistics highlighting the crucial role that this sector can play in minimizing the environment of transport, storage and logistics activities.

Green logistics aims to:

  • Measure the CO2 footprint of logistics operations to monitor the sustainability actions undertaken and verify the results
  • Reduce the pollution (air, soil, water) analyzing the impact of individual activities, especially, those related to transport.
  • Minimize the wastes by reusing containers and recycling packaging.

Spreading the design of the sustainability of the supply chain, both in the products and in the packaging to minimize the environmental impact.

Over the years, CNL has promoted various sustainable initiatives involving international brands which share the values of the Circular Economy and pursue a zero-emissions policy.
